For One Night and One Night Only!

June 17, 2020
Happy 24th to me!

It's so funny because every year, I say i'm going to stop planning and going all out for my birthday, yet every year I never listen to that advice LOL! The curse of being an event planner, I guess!

For this years' celebration, I threw a Mamma Mia themed birthday party!
Take a look.

Believe it or not, I actually thrifted a lot of these blue and white pieces! We are fortunate to live right near an awesome warehouse antique store that sells a TON of unique pieces.

I love these flyers! This added the cutest personal touch to the party.

No Mamma Mia birthday would be complete without a disco ball, amirite?!
The Dynamos would approve!

Channeling my inner Donna, here!

And there you have it! The perfect Mamma Mia birthday. I was the dancing queen all night long, and can't wait to see what 24 has in store for me.

Thanks for reading!

Some Tennessee Fun

Just some shots over the last few weeks since moving to Tennessee. I will say that being in quarantine just as you get to a new state is not the best way to get acquainted... but I'm rolling with the punches and trying to take it day by day.

Stay safe inside, everyone. Enjoy these random photos.

Carni Life

August 3, 2019
Every year, the Monmouth County Fair comes around at the end of July and every year, I get just as excited as the last!

My favorite thing about the Fair is the food, duh. Like come on, if you don't take part in Fair food, you're doing it allllll wrong. The key is to fast all day long so you're super hungry when you get there! Works every time.

And what exactly is my favorite food, you may ask? THE CORN! The Fair always has the most amazing grilled corn and for the first time this year, they had all of these different spices and toppings to jazz it up! I did pepper and ranch flakes and it was heavenly. (I also had an empanada, fries, raspberry lemonade, and popcorn but hey, who's counting?)

I hope you get a chance to go to a Fair this summer, you won't regret it!

Scarpaci Designs is Doing Cakes

July 3, 2019
As many of you know, I am an event planner in addition to this crazy fashion blogging life, and I have recently started making more and more cakes for my events.
1) Because it saves them money in their budget, especially if they weren't set on getting a cake from a specific place and 2) because I really like baking!!!

So I thought it would be fun to maybe start actually making cakes for some small events for anyone who might be interested in ordering them with me! I promise they actually taste good, but I will say I am no professional. My cakes are good for birthdays, brunches, an addition to a dessert table, things like that. Not so much as a main dessert. They're not that big, usually just three or four tiers max. Of course we can always do multiple cakes, but that's upon your request!

SO! Take a look at some of the cakes I've made below! Some were for birthday celebrations at home so they're a little less fancy, and some were for actual events I've done this past year! Hope you enjoy...

Vanilla cake with vanilla icing and daisy's to garnish.

Lemon cake with vanilla icing and blueberries to garnish.

Vanilla cake with vanilla icing with flowers to garnish.

Cupcakes:
Red velvet cake, vanilla icing, and chocolate sprinkles and cherries to garnish.
Cake:
Cherry chip cake, vanilla icing (with red food coloring) and cherries to garnish.

Vanilla and chocolate marble cake with vanilla icing (food coloring) and Sweet By Dani B Cookies to garnish.

Right: Vanilla cake with vanilla icing and sprinkles and a strawberry to garnish.
Left: Chocolate cake with chocolate icing with Oreos, cream, and a strawberry to garnish.

I hope you guys like my cakes! I have definitely gotten better over the last year, haha!

If you'd like to order a cake from me for any event you may have, send an email to me at amandascarpaci22@gmail.com with some info about your event (date, guest count, occasion, theme, etc) and I will get back to you with availability and pricing!

Thanks for tuning in <3
