My 20th Birthday!

June 24, 2016
It's only been a week, and I miss my birthday already.

I'm going to be honest, I was fully prepared for this birthday to be the most uneventful time ever. I couldn't decide what I wanted to do with my friends, where we were going to go, what I was going to wear- nothing. Not to mention that I still had to wait a whole year before I turned twenty-one... *sigh*
I was ready to throw in the towel and just have cake with my family, but then I finally cut the crap and decided I wanted to go to the city with my friends. We were going out the day after my birthday to Hudson Terrace, and I was really excited.

Now I was on a mission: My birthday outfit.

Of course I got the basic "Birthday Babe" sash (is it really your birthday without this?) for $15.00 from Spencers. More importantly though, my perfect dress was from Forever 21. I got it for $22.90! The shoes were from Windsor for only $25.00. The struggle was certainly real while finding these outfit components, but it was worth it.

Here's a classic Sassy Amanda picture for you to enjoy.

Anyway, after completing my perfect birthday ensemble, Kate absolutely slayed my face and gave me the best birthday makeup look ever!

Make sure you guys are checking out my best friend on YouTube (Sophistikaited Beauty) and on her Instagram @KaitlynRoseBeauty !

Thanks Kate!

We all had a great time and I'm glad my birthday turned out the way it did. Twenty may be considered an insignificant age, but it's pretty significant to me already. Can't wait to see what the next year has in store for me!

The Pink/Purple Drink Craze

So this "pink drink" has taken over Instagam, and I couldn't help myself... I had to try it. The one that I asked for at Starbucks was supposed to be the "purple drink," but it just came out this light pink color. I wasn't mad though- it was just as pretty.

The ingredients to this drink are as follows- passion tea lemonade, coconut milk, vanilla syrup, and blackberries. I have a theory that the more blackberries you get, the more purple it is, so if you try this drink out, lemme know if yours turns a different color!

When I go to Starbucks, I usually just get a unsweented green tea, so this was a lot of fun for me to try! Let me know if you guys try it, and how you like it in the comments below!
