Hot Heels- SJP edition

So this Hot Heels post is special, because it features heels from Sarah Jessica Parker's collection, SJP. When I went to meet her this past weekend, you had to purchase a pair of heels in order to do so. God bless my mother for buying them, because they were $385. Expensive, I know, but you get what you pay for.

They were so incredibly beautiful, and sparkled when I walked. Iconic.

Both pairs that I tried on were pretty comfortable to wear, not too high of a heel or too tight on the toes. After trying them on, I understood why people would pay almost $400 for them, not to mention the whole collection is absolutely beautiful.

I felt like a mini Carrie in these heels, and I loved every second of it. If you guys have an extra $400 laying around (lol), I highly recommend checking out SJP's line.

Bloomingdale's. Neiman Marcus. Zappos.

Meeting Sarah Jessica Parker

As many of you may know by now, I have an addiction to meeting celebrities. This celeb encounter, however, was a huge game-changer for me.

If anyone knows me, you would know that Sarah Jessica Parker, a.k.a. Carrie Bradshaw, is my biggest idol, and the absolute love of my life. Everything she has done and everything she is inspires me every day. Throughout high school, watching the character of Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City really helped to sculpt me into the person I am today, aiding me in deciding who I wanted to become in the fashion world- I'll never be able to thank her enough for that.

Now that my sappy moment is out of the way, on to the SJP Bloomingdale's shoe release.

Last week, SJP posted on Instagram that she was coming to the Short Hills Mall to do a shoe release at Bloomingdale's, and I was all over it; no way was she coming that close to me and I wouldn't see her. I would go alone if I had to.

My mother and I went and waited on line from 11:30-2:30.

When I saw her, my jaw dropped. She was actually real!!! She was so incredibly sweet to everyone who came to meet her and to buy a pair of her shoes, strapping them on and making sure they fit everyone right. At one point she was literally sprawled out on the floor helping someone with their shoes. So humble.

Here I am patiently waiting my turn to meet her. :)

Here we are picking out a day to go shopping together, obviously.

We legitimately look like mother and daughter. I'm internally sobbing.
Speaking of mother and daughter, when she came over to meet and shake my mother's hand, my mom said, "I just want to let you know, if Carrie Bradshaw had a daughter, it would be this girl." So true mom, so true.
SJP laughed, I swooned, we hugged, and smiled for a picture.

And here we are! This was one of the greatest moments for me- I really do look up to her so much, so this really meant a lot. Thank you mom for bringing me and waiting around with me all day, you really are the best.

More to come soon!

The Vampire Diaries Convention 2016

October 4, 2016
Hello, Brother.

Okay sorry, I had to. Damon's first line ever on the show really does it for me.

Hello! So this past weekend was hands down the best weekend of my life. Hands. Down. No doubt about it.
My mom, sister, and myself went to The Vampire Diaries Convention in Arlington, VA and I had the most amazing time EVER. If you've ever seen the show, I hope you understand why this was such a big deal for me. The drive was about 3 hours and 15 minutes from my house, but I did not care- it could have been 10 hours and I still would have happily went. The hotel where the convention was being held was super close to Washington, D.C., so that was pretty cool to be in the area since I've never been there before.

Here's basic pics of me while driving for hours in the car.

Now on to the good parts of this story.

First thing we did on Sunday was meet Ian Somerhalder, and he was the nicest, most down to Earth guy you could ever meet. He was so genuine, and had sensational eye contact skills that made me feel like I was looking into his soul when I first walked up to him at the meet and greet.

OMG, don't we make such a cute couple?

I walked up and he hugged me and asked, "Are you so excited?!" I said, "Um, is that even a question?! So excited!" We turned and smiled for our picture and then after I said, "You are even more perfect in person." He looks me in the eyes and goes, "Ditto, my friend."
UMMMMMMM.
First of all, he called me his friend. Bye. Second of all, he said I was perfect. Dead. I love you, Ian.

After the Ian meet and greet, it was time for Paul's.

We are actually dating, like this proves it.

Paul was so sincere and nice, and you can just tell he loved meeting everyone and being there. We talked for maybe one minute and thirty seconds and I loved every second of it. Afterwards, at his autograph signing, he was just as sweet and beautiful. (Ugh, those eyes though.)

While all of the convention-goers were waiting for Ian and Paul to be done with their duo photo ops, we got to sit in the theatre and listen to Enzo and Professor Shane do a Q&A!!! They were both hilarious, and I really felt like I got to know them both better afterwards. Michael Malarkey (Enzo) also told us that his favorite episode coming up in the new season is episode 5, so I'm definitely looking forward to that.

When Ian and Paul did their Q&A, you could really tell how close they are in real life. They were calling each other brother, and were joking around and telling the funniest stories. It was so amazing to see them out of their usual characters, and to hear them tell us some of the behind the scenes experiences they've had.

Here's my mom and I in the hotel!

You're the best mom EVER!

It really was the best weekend of my life; Christmas came waaayyy early for me. Special thanks to my mom and sister for listening to me gawk about it for days, and will most likely hear about it until next years' convention LOL. I'll be rocking my Elena necklace until then!

Hope you guys liked this! Be on the lookout for my upcoming Fall themed posts. :)
